Step by Step Guide to entering the lottery

- In the above example, the users can play the USDC Lottery if he has 10 USDC. He needs to click on approve to approve the lottery contract.
- The user then clicks the “Enter with 10 USDC button”.
- 10 USD will be sent to the lottery contract and the no of players should have also increased after the transaction becomes confirmed.
- When the last user has entered the lottery the ChainLink VRF is executed to randomly chose the winner.
- The settleLottery() is then called by a bot. This function is a public function and can be called by anyone even if there is an issue with the bot. It is completely decentralized.
- Once settleLottery() is called the winners will automatically be transferred the amount specified for a payout into the participating wallet.
- The losers would be mined L-USD which is a lottery token which can be used to participate in the second chance lottery.
- The payout amounts will be automatically added to the winner’s wallet.
The Real Bonus: Second Chance Lottery
All the users who don’t win the lottery can try again in the second lottery with L tokens (LUSDC, LARTH, LCNT etc). All the rules for this lottery remain the same as before, and the winner will receive the winnings immediately after all the slots are filled.
